Yesterday I was in the mood for roasted Cornish hen, so that’s what we had for dinner.
I usually use a garlic and herb seasoning but yesterday decided to change it up a little with smoked paprika and cumin seasoning which blended well together.
This roasted Cornish hen recipe would make a great substitute for turkey on Thanksgiving for those with a small group of only two or three.

Serve these smoked paprika roasted Cornish hens with baked sweet potatoes and green beans and you have a delicious meal that took very little effort.

Ingredients
- 2 Cornish hens
- sea salt
- smoked paprika
- cumin
- olive oil
Instructions
- Brush Cornish hens with a little olive oil and season with salt, smoked paprika, and cumin.
- Spray foil covered baking sheet with cooking spray, then place Cornish hens on the baking sheet.
- Bake at 400 degrees for 1 hour.
- Serve hot.
