When I found these old fashioned soda fountain glasses in an antique store this summer I knew I just had to use them for sugar free ice cream floats. This ice cream float is perfect for a snack or dessert because it’s so quick and easy to make.
All you need is no sugar added vanilla coconut milk ice cream and a Zevia. Zevias are soda pop sweetened with stevia and monk fruit and come in many flavors…cola, ginger root beer, dr. zevia, black cherry and many others. If you want to get creative the possibilities are endless.
First decide what type of soda pop you want. Do you want a root beer float, coke float, dr pepper float, or a fruity ice cream float. The next big decision is what flavor of ice cream? Vanilla, chocolate, mint, butter pecan? Then decide if you want any additions like chocolate syrup, bananas, or pineapple. My first one was very simple…cola and vanilla ice cream.
So treat yourself this summer to sugar free ice cream floats and enjoy!
